DESCRIPTION:This class is mandatory for all patients undergoing weight loss surgery at Centennial. We want to insure you are fully prepared for what to expect leading up to surgery\, every day during your hospital stay and when you are first discharged from the hospital. This two hour class will be scheduled by your surgeon’s office in conjunction with your pre-admission testing. You will hear from a registered nurse\, a registered dietitian and a pharmacist during class. You will then meet one on one with a pharmacist who will review the medications you are taking (be sure to bring your medications and the name and number of your pharmacy.) You will have the option to purchase vitamins and supplements onsite. This is the time to take care of any co-pays or deductibles due to the surgeon or hospital.

This two hour class will be scheduled by your surgeon’s office in conjunction with your pre-admission testing. You will hear from a registered nurse\, a registered dietitian and a pharmacist during class. You will then meet one on one with a pharmacist who will review the medications you are taking (be sure to bring your medications and the name and number of your pharmacy.) You will have the option to purchase vitamins and supplements onsite. This is the time to take care of any co-pays or deductibles due to the surgeon or hospital.
