DESCRIPTION:This class is mandatory for all patients undergoing weight loss surgery at Centennial. We want to insure you are fully prepared for what to expect leading up to surgery\, every day during your hospital stay and when you are first discharged from the hospital. This two hour class will be scheduled by your surgeon’s office in conjunction with your pre-admission testing. You will hear from a registered nurse\, a registered dietitian and a pharmacist during class. You will then meet one on one with a pharmacist who will review the medications you are taking (be sure to bring your medications and the name and number of your pharmacy.) You will have the option to purchase vitamins and supplements onsite. This is the time to take care of any co-pays or deductibles due to the surgeon or hospital.

DESCRIPTION:Fit4Fun is our FREE adolescent weight loss program for ages 13-18. Family participation is encouraged during this class led by our dietitian and nurse. This is a 12 module adolescent program focusing on healthy choices and fun activities in a group setting with a treatment team that includes Registered Dietitians\, Nurses\, and Child Life Specialists.
