For those needing a formal weight loss attempt to meet insurance criteria – our insurance specialist will register you for this class if needed. This 60 minute class meets multiple times each month; however, participants are only required to attend once per month. You will need to stay after class for your weigh-in. The format includes 30 minutes of education by the nurse and dietitian on dietary changes, incorporating exercise/movement into your life and the behavioral changes necessary to facilitate Success after Surgery, followed by 30 minutes of support group discussion.
