We love working with our patients! Our center is very proud to offer one of the most comprehensive Weight Loss Surgery programs in the country. Working together with YOU to make your Centennial Experience as fulfilling as possible is our goal.
Please meet our team of experts.
Pam Davis, RN, Certified Bariatric Nurse, Certified Case Manager
Program Director
“Since my gastric bypass surgery at Centennial on March 2nd, 2001, I have wanted to be a part of their program. On April 16th, 2007 I began working with Centennial’s program and it is truly a blessing to get to come to work here every day. I am responsible for the overall operations of the Center including our seminars, physician and community outreach and program development. I feel very strongly that each of us are our own best advocate. To me, the Centennial Experience means we are addressing all of our patients needs; whether that is advocating for increased access to and coverage of weight loss surgery or providing one of the largest networks of support groups, both patient led and professional led in the country. I contribute to the Centennial Experience by taking every opportunity to educate individuals on the disease process of obesity, including treatment options and the need for additional research and by advocating for our patients on a daily basis.”
Kathy Hungerford, RN, BSN
Asssistant Program Manager
“I have worked in this program for 2 years. I assist the clinical team in delivering excellent care and education to all of our patients and support to my co-workers. I see myself as contributing to the Centennial experience by using both my professional experience as an R.N. and my personal experience as a RNY gastric bypass patient to help others navigate the journey of bariatric surgery. This is my opportunity to pay it forward.”

Jill Burns, RD, Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist
Registered Dietitian
“I started working at Centennial Center for the Treatment of Obesity in 2003. I work part-time on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My primary responsibilities are post-op nutrition education for patients who have undergone bariatric surgery. To me, the Centennial experience means patients getting the best overall care from a multi-disciplinary team to succeed in their life long weight loss journey. From a dietitian standpoint, we can meet a variety of nutritional needs by offering a weight loss progam, pre-op nutrition classes, individual counseling, post-op follow up and aftercare sessions to help patients succeed with their weight loss goals.”
Pam Helmlinger, RD, Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist
Registered Dietitian
“I transferred from an HCA hospital to Centennial in 2004 and I have worked with the bariatric program since 2006. I contribute to the program by providing preoperative and postoperative nutrition counseling. I also educate patients required to complete a medical weight loss program for insurance approval. To me, the Centennial experience means we provide our patients the aftercare required to support their success in achieving a healthier, happier lifestyle.”
Anna Cleland
Exercise Physiologist

Eloise Bray
Financial Manager
“After my life changing decision to have Bariatric surgery in 2001 with Centennial’s program, I had the opportunity to join their staff in 2005 as the Financial Manager. I am responsible for the Financial Counselors that work with our patients to provide insurance companies with the documentation that supports coverage for this surgery. I contribute to the Centennial experience by using my personal experience of the approval process to pave a “new and improved” process for current and future patients to follow. I know the desire for this surgery, first hand. Once a patient commits to this journey, the hopes of a new beginning are often delayed by insurance policies and procedures, and an endless list of medical record demands proving a patient’s health history. I contribute to the Centennial experience by helping others begin their new life’s journey by assisting them, whole heart. It’s my pleasure to help others have the same surgery that saved my life.”

Lisa Ferrell
Financial Counselor
“I started working at Centennial in February 2001. I like to meet the patients that I help to be approved for surgery before they have their surgery done. Then I can watch them as they come in for follow up appointments and they get smaller, and smaller, and smaller.”
Sherry Noyes
Financial Counselor
“I started working with Centennial in 2008 and I have also been a patient since 2008. I contribute to the Centennial experience by helping patients through their journey of the approval process for surgery, it is honestly a dream job!”
Heather Newbern
Financial Counselor
”I started with HCA in 2000 and started working at Centennial Medical Center in 2008. I contribute to the Centennial experience by doing the best that I can to ensure our patients are taken care of the way they should be.”
