Dr. Hugh Houston and his staff literrally gave me my life back! I started at 303 at my first MD visit. When I met Dr. Houston I was at 287, I am now 7 months out of surgery and 147 pounds. I have never been as happy and I have the knowledge that I need to have continued success and a long healthy future ahead of me! Thank you so much!!!! I am eternally greatful! In less than 8 months, I have lost 115 lbs! From a size 24-26 to a 16. I am 25 years old and have not been this size since I was 14. It is incredible, and I would go through the surgery over again. Dr. Houston and staff have been great. I have NEVER regretted my decision! I am now looking forward to my future with a new hope and excitement!

I cannot begin to thank Dr David Dyer for giving me a new start. Since having my surgery 1/25/2010, I have become a new person. I am now healthy and have lost a total of 79 pounds since the first time I saw Dr Dyer but have actually lost over 100 pounds in 18 months. Dr Dyer has been wonderful to work with as well as his staff. I have been called the "incredible shrinking woman" by several friends, and I love it. Thanks Centennial Bariatrics and Centennial Women's Hospital for the wonderful treatment. Have already sent several new converts to Centennial Bariatrics.

What a difference you have made in my life! I am over three years out from my surgery and have thanked God daily for the new lease on life and the improved quality of life I am now able to experience. I'm down 160 pounds, feel wonderful, walked a half-marathon to celebrate my 3 year surgiversary and my sixtieth birthday. Dr. Dyer gave me the tool and opportunity to succeed where I have failed so many times before. I am so glad I chose Centennial and have had this new lease on life. I encourage those who are in doubt to contact me or others you know who have had the surgery and then weigh the opportunities. Life is sooooo good.

I was 55 yrs old and 257 lbs just before my gastric bypass. I was unhealthy, prediabetic taking 1500 mg of Metformin daily, four pills a day for hypertension, and I had no energy. I felt awful on a daily basis. I had been overweight since my early 20s, and over the years proven to be a failure at many diets and weight loss programs. I found Centennial Bariatrics by talking with people at work and getting their stories of success and after doing considerable online research I decided to have the lap band. But after counseling with Dr Houston, we decided that the gastric bypass was a better decision for me personally. On the day of my surgery I was so scared of the unknown. One of the surgical nurses, Donna, talked to me and explained things once again to me, and gave me her personal story of how she had had the same surgery many years earlier. Her compassion and kindness put me at ease and soon i was off to the OR.The next thing I remembered I was in my room. After two days I was able to go home. I must say that the care I received at Centennial was very much appreciated. Their patience with me did not go unnoticed for I know I am a terrible patient. I am 8 months post op and I now weigh in at 182 lbs. It's a miracle. I no longer take all the medications I was taking before. The only pill I take now is one a day to keep my cholesterol in check. This surgery has given my life back to me. I know go to the gym and work out and I find that eating is not something I do out of boredom or from an emotional setback. I realize I can complete this journey with the tools I have been given and Dr Houston and his fine staff will be my guides along the way. Thank you all at Centennial Bariatrics!

I had been thinking and researching the sleeve surgery for several months. I am so glad that I did it, just in this short time I have seen a big differance in my health. I am no longer having foot and ankle pain, blood pressure is great and I am nearly 50lbs down. I did have a few complications right after surgery but nothing that I was not warned about. Dr Olsen is great and helped me through this whole ordeal. I would recommend Dr Olsen and the sleeve to anyone. GO ON TAKE THAT STEP IT'S WORTH IT.

Dr. Olsen is the best...since my surgery I've lost 17 lbs...I should have done this sooner,,,like when I was 30 something...the best thing is I don't care about half the food I used to love,,,which most of it was not healthy...I don't even miss my morning coffee now...thank you Dr. Olsen you've helped me to extend my life and I am truely grateful for all you have done for me and my family...
